🐾 Found a Stray Cat? Thank you for caring — your kindness could save a life.
If you’ve found a stray cat or kitten, the first and most important step is to keep them safe. Please bring them indoors or into a secure area like a bathroom, laundry, or spare room. Make sure they have access to food, fresh water, and a warm, quiet place to rest.
Can You Help Us Help Them?
Kittie Kat Rescue Inc. is currently at full capacity and unable to take in more cats at this time. However, we may still be able to assist with rehoming support if you can help with their short-term care or vet work.
Please let us know if you are able to:
✅ Provide temporary foster care (even for a few weeks)
✅ Contribute a $300 donation per cat to cover desexing, vaccination, and microchipping
✅ Arrange and manage their vet work yourself
If you can assist with one or more of the above, we may be able to support you by listing the cat for adoption through our network once their vet work is complete.
🏥 Help with Vet Costs
If you need help covering vet bills, the following organisations may be able to assist:
National Desexing Network
Search for low-cost vet clinics across Australia

Cat Protection Society – Adopt-a-Stray Program
$100 voucher for desexing, vaccination, and microchipping

Animal Welfare League NSW – Vet Assistance Voucher
🐱 Still Can’t Help?
If you're unable to care for the cat yourself, we recommend:
Contacting other local rescues or no-kill shelters
Posting in local Facebook groups or community pages
These can be helpful for finding someone who may be able to assist with short-term care or rehoming.
Thank you again for stepping up to help a stray in need. Every act of kindness makes a difference.
